Habitat:	Acacia, Celtis, Ficus woodland. Riparian forest to semi rid wooded grassland. Tree ab. 4 m tall. Bark dark brown grey, slightly scaly. Spines in pairs, one recurved or more or less straight. Fruit green, ab. 1 cm in diameter
Remarks:	Vernacular name: Nyerhale (Bume language). Drupe edible. Wood used for dye to make clothes yellow.
